A rhinoplasty improves your life on many frontiers. Better breathing & respiratory functions, increased self confidence, enhanced looks, and overall health benefits are some of numerous benefits of having a nose job. You can also resort to rhinoplasty for cosmetic purposes, such as: improving the outer appearance of the nose and making it more consistent with the face, and treating nasal deformities and opening up nasal passages.
Improved nose functionality
After you are done with your rhinoplasty, you will notice your breathing improving and your airwaysfully clearing up, that will improve oxygen retention in your lungs and increase your durability and overall physical fitness. Breathing issues will be a thing of the past.
Other benefits include getting rid of a chronically blocked and congested sinus; which are conditions in which a surgical intervention is needed. A nose surgery will comfortably unblock the sinus, allowing the patient to restore their breathing to healthy levels.
Let’s be frank, snoring is annoying to you and the others around your bed. Unfortunately, breathing problems and nasal deformities can lead to snoring, sleep apnea, and many other issues while sleeping. A reconstructive nasal procedure helps restore the airways to its original state, making your nose free again !

Recovery stages from a rhinoplasty
The stage of recovery after rhinoplasty varies from case to case, it may extend from two to three weeks and may reach up to a year. The stages of nose change after cosmetic surgery can be classified into four stages:
1. The first stage
The first stage after open rhinoplasty takes about a week and it is the most difficult stage after the procedure. This stage is represented by swelling and bruising, which leads to difficulty in breathing through the nose due to the presence of splints and adhesive tapes and sometimes the presence of fillings in the nostrils.
2. The second stage
The second stage of recovery lasts from two to three weeks. In the second week, the nasal splints and tapes are removed, which may improve the breathing process through the nose.
Usually the final cosmetic and functional results do not appear during this stage, however, swelling and bruising may decrease by 50% or even less. Until the end of the third week, you should avoid strenuous workloads and avoid any heavy lifting and exposure to the sun during this stage.
3. The third stage
The third stage of rhinoplasty recovery lasts from three weeks to three months, when the swelling in the nose usually begins to fade gradually.
Although the change in the shape of the nose is clear at this stage, it does not still represent the final shape of the nose, but rather gives you the initial impression of the shape of the nose; accompanied by some delicate and mild nose problems.
4. Fourth stage
The last stage of recovery ranges between 3-12 months, where the minute changes of the nose continue to heal until the end of the stage and the final appearance comes to light. Additionally, the healing of internal and external wounds totally completes.
From now on you can resume your normal life activities like before. In the event that there is still an undesirable shape in the nose after the end of this stage, the doctor may resort to a corrective nose surgery.
